YaShica Maxwell, MA, MSW, LLMSW, LCSW, LICSW, is a dedicated empowerment relationship & love coach, business success & scaling consultant, licensed independent clinical social worker, and certified Comprehensive Child and Family Assessor (CCFA). She holds a master’s degree in Christian Studies, with a focus on Pastoral Ministry, and an additional master's degree in Social Work. With a deep passion for fostering growth and healing, YaShica provides a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for clients to address life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength. Drawing on years of experience, YaShica specializes in a strength-based, personalized therapeutic approach to support adults in overcoming generational trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and navigating crises such as suicide prevention. Her diverse professional background enhances her ability to guide clients through their unique healing journeys with expertise and care. In addition to therapy, YaShica offers business consulting and coaching services designed to empower clients to thrive in various aspects of life. Her coaching encompasses relationships, love, premarital, healthy marriages, impostor syndrome support, productivity improvement, time management, anger management, parenting classes, healthy habit formation, domestic violence awareness, and navigating life transitions. She helps clients set boundaries, achieve personal and professional goals, develop success strategies, and provides individual divorce coaching and psychotherapy. .She also offers specialized assessments (domestic violence, addiction, parenting). TeResa Smith, MEd, EdD (Cand.) Tutor, and Art Coach TeResa Smith holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Spring Arbor University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Portland. She is currently a doctoral candidate at Concordia University. In addition to her academic degrees, TeResa has earned a Child Development Associate (CDA), a Montessori teaching certificate, and a yoga teaching certificate. With over twenty years of experience in education, TeResa works as a tutor and artist. Her number one goal is to help students enhance their unique skillsets while fostering a genuine love for learning. She has mentored students from preschool through college and has volunteered with numerous children and teen organizations within her community. TeResa is a passionate artist who specializes in sketching and painting. Her love for art began in early childhood, where she often drew on her bedroom walls and later started a small art business. Art remains a central part of her identity and a tool she uses to connect with students creatively and engagingly. One of her most powerful educational experiences came from working with her daughter, who has dyslexia. TeResa provided daily after-school tutoring in reading, writing, poetry, and portrait drawing. With her mother’s support, her daughter completed high school and college without special education services or an individualized education program (IEP). She now holds three college degrees. This personal journey inspired TeResa to help other students with similar challenges. TeResa uses individualized instruction based on each student’s learning style and specific needs. She incorporates the Wilson Reading System’s Orton-Gillingham approach, systematically teaching decoding, encoding, and comprehension. This evidence-based method helps struggling readers become confident, capable learners. Additionally, she integrates art into literacy instruction, which has been shown to enhance reading comprehension, critical thinking, and verbal skills. Her tutoring services include: • Individualized instruction for dyslexia and other learning differences • Spelling, phonics, and reading comprehension support • Writing, grammar, and punctuation coaching • Test preparation and study skills development • Organization and goal-setting strategies • Art education and creative expression • Classroom behavior monitoring and support TeResa’s empathetic, patient, and welcoming nature creates a nurturing learning environment where students feel safe and supported. Orlando Smith, Completed Coursework Towards a BS & BA Credentialing & Regulatory Affairs Specialist Orlando Smith brings decades of distinguished leadership experience in operational systems, regulatory oversight, and organizational performance. As the Credentialing & Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Empowered Harmony Counseling, Psychiatry & Wellness Center (EHC), he plays an essential part in supporting our nationwide clinical compliance infrastructure. Orlando is responsible for strategically monitoring and coordinating licensure renewals, liability coverage, tax deadlines, and corporate filings across multiple states. He ensures that all documentation remains current and aligned with state and federal requirements with precision and discretion. His efforts uphold the integrity of EHC’s operations and allow providers and clinical leaders to focus fully on client care, while regulatory responsibilities are executed seamlessly behind the scenes. In addition to managing compliance workflows, Orlando oversees the issuance of timely, regulatory notifications to contractors, tracks credentialing milestones, and safeguards EHC’s good standing status in all operational regions. He brings to this work an impressive foundation in performance management, safety systems, administrative leadership, and cross-functional coordination, gained through decades of service in utility operations, workforce supervision, and college coursework. His advanced training in budgeting, cost-of-service, and organizational development further elevates the caliber of his work.
