Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Yes. We accept many plans. We continue to add new insurance companies to EHC. Contact your insurance company to verify your coverage. We also offer straightforward and affordable self-pay options. -
Q: Who can benefit from your services?
A: Children, adults, and couples facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity concerns, stress, life changes, and more. We also provide psychiatry and wellness services. -
Q: What should I expect during my first session?
A: Your first session is an intake. Your provider will review your medical history, concerns, and goals to create a personalized care plan tailored to your needs. -
Q: Is everything confidential?
A: Yes. Your privacy is protected by law, except when safety laws require disclosure for self-harm, threats, abuse, or court orders. We follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and security of your information. -
Q: What’s the difference between therapy and psychiatry?
A: Therapy is talk-based work with a licensed clinician. Psychiatry focuses on diagnosis and, when necessary, medications. -
Q: Can I choose my therapist or provider?
A: Yes. We offer provider matching based on your preferences and goals. -
Q: Are your providers culturally competent?
A: Yes. Our team uses culturally responsive, identity-affirming care for BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+, neurodivergent people, and other marginalized groups. -
Q: Do you offer LGBTQIA2S+ affirming care?
A: Yes. We provide affirming, supportive services. Your identity is respected. -
Q: Are your services available outside of the US?
A: Not yet. We are expanding to a nationwide practice with multi-state licensed providers. Contact us to check availability in your state. -
Q: Do you offer faith-based counseling?
A: Yes. You can request faith-based sessions. We support both Christian and secular approaches. -
Q: How long are sessions?
A: Most sessions are 45 to 55 minutes. Psychiatry sessions are typically shorter and vary in duration depending on whether they are for evaluation or follow-up. -
Q: What platform do you use for virtual sessions?
A: We use secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms for a smooth experience. -
Q: What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
A: Give at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a late fee. You can reschedule by contacting your provider via phone or email. -
Q: Can I switch providers if I am not a good fit?
A: Yes. If a different provider would help, we will assist with a referral within the EHC team. -
Q: Do you offer support for trauma or PTSD?
A: Yes. Most providers utilize evidence-based care, including EMDR, CBT, and somatic interventions. -
Q: Is psychiatry only for people with severe mental illness?
A: No. Medications can help with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and sleep disorders. Care is personalized. -
Q: Do you offer weekend or evening appointments?
A: Yes. Many providers offer evening and weekend hours. -

Q: Can I see a provider from any state?
A: You must be physically in the state where your provider is licensed during your session. -
Q: How long are records kept?
A: At least 7 years for adults. For minors, at least 7 years after their 18th birthday.

A: Office Hours:
Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Closed on Sunday
Provider Availability:
Providers may offer sessions seven days a week between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM. Availability depends on each provider’s schedule.
