Empowered Harmony Counseling, Consulting & Wellness Center, established in 2019, is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals aged seven (7) to seventy & up (70+). Our team of experienced providers is dedicated to providing inclusive, supportive care for adults, veterans, couples, members of BIPOC communities, LGBTQIA2S+ communities, and other diverse groups. At Empowered Harmony Counseling, we believe in the transformative power of psychotherapy and wellness to foster healing, empowerment, personal growth, and emotional well-being. We adopt a trauma-informed, client-centered approach, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for individuals to explore their thoughts, feelings, and life experiences.

Official Communication Methods Legitimate communication from Empowered Harmony Counseling, Psychiatry & Wellness Center will come through: • Email from verified Empowered Harmony (@ EmpoweredHarmony.com) team members • Official onboarding messages after a confirmed application • Direct follow up from HR or Credentialing Contractors who want an Empowered Harmony company email may request and pay for one by contacting support@empoweredharmony.com. Otherwise, contractors will use a specific Gmail format. Empowered Harmony Counseling, Psychiatry & Wellness Center does not: • Conduct interviews through Telegram, WhatsApp, Signal, or other encrypted messaging apps • Ask for payment through Cash App, Venmo, or peer to peer apps • Request gift cards, cash, or personal payments of any kind • Require financial information before a written contract is signed • Cold call or message individuals with unsolicited contract offers Anyone claiming to represent Empowered Harmony Counseling, Psychiatry & Wellness Center who asks for any of these items is a scammer and not affiliated with our organization. Protect Yourself: How to Spot a Recruitment Scam Scammers often impersonate reputable companies to deceive job seekers and contractors. You may encounter fraudulent messages, fake job postings, or attempts to collect money under the appearance of a legitimate opportunity. Be cautious of anyone who: • Contacts you without an application on file • Avoids video communication or identity verification • Pressures you into fast decisions • Requests payments not listed in an executed contract • Asks for personal information through insecure platforms If something feels off, stop immediately and verify. We are aware that both hiring scams and fake client scams targeting mental health professionals have been on the rise. To ensure transparency and protect anyone interested in joining Empowered Harmony Counseling Psychiatry & Wellness Center or seeking services with us, we want to make our process clear.

From time to time, scammers may pose as Empowered Harmony Counseling Psychiatry & Wellness Center recruiters or staff members and attempt to contact applicants through text, email, or other methods. They may request personal, financial, or sensitive information as part of a fake hiring process.

We have also been alerted to scams involving individuals posing as potential clients. These scammers may claim they want to arrange services for an adult child who is away, a child who cannot come to the phone, or a similar situation. They may offer to send payment through Western Union, by check, or other methods, then request that you deposit the funds and forward part of the money elsewhere. This is a fraudulent scheme.

• Ask for personal or financial information through text message, direct message, or unsecured email.
• Request that you accept or forward funds on behalf of a client.
