We are aware that both hiring scams and fake client scams targeting mental health professionals have been on the rise. To ensure transparency and protect anyone interested in joining Empowered Harmony Counseling Psychiatry & Wellness Center or seeking services with us, we want to make our process clear.

From time to time, scammers may pose as Empowered Harmony Counseling Psychiatry & Wellness Center recruiters or staff members and attempt to contact applicants through text, email, or other methods. They may request personal, financial, or sensitive information as part of a fake hiring process.

We have also been alerted to scams involving individuals posing as potential clients. These scammers may claim they want to arrange services for an adult child who is away, a child who cannot come to the phone, or a similar situation. They may offer to send payment through Western Union, by check, or other methods, then request that you deposit the funds and forward part of the money elsewhere. This is a fraudulent scheme.

Please know that official communication from Empowered Harmony Counseling Psychiatry & Wellness Center will only come from an email address ending in @empoweredharmony.com. Empowered Harmony Counseling Psychiatry & Wellness Center will never:

• Ask for personal or financial information through text message, direct message, or unsecured email.
• Request that you accept or forward funds on behalf of a client.
